There are actually many good locations along the Nylazi River and in the surrounding  area. The problem is to find a location which is relatively unspoilt,  offers a unique habitat type which will ensure adequate sightings of  varied  bird species and is easily accessible.

Good locations should also not have too much human activity in the immediate area and have a focal point such as 
bulleta large fruit tree, 
bulleta reed bed, 
bulletthe river bank  
bulleta stagnant or slow moving section of water
bulleta section of riverine forest
bulletdead trees in the water

These locations will need to be selected very carefully and a great deal of consideration needs to given to the other factors such as 

bulletAccessibility, specifically if we are to cater for the physically disabled in wheel chairs
bulletThe land owner who will also need to brought on board and some consideration will need to be given to his / her personal involvement in the project.  
bulletPotential damage to the environment from soil erosion along access paths
bulletseasonal water levels, especially in wet years.
bulletVisibility from the hide, preferably 360 degrees, but not always possible.
bulletProximity to other hides and / or ablution facilities
